White House-Media interlock protects Obama Benghazi coverup

(LPAC)—A tight family web ties President Obama’s national security team to news agencies that aid his coverup of the background to the attack on the Benghazi, Libya, U.S. mission.

OBAMA NATIONAL SECURITY and CBS:

Obama’s Deputy National Security Advisor and speechwriter Ben Rhodes created the talking points—the rhetorical strategies, for Obama to explain the Benghazi attack as unrelated to such Obama policies as murdering Libya’s president Qaddafi and using Libyan terrorists against Syria.

BEN’S BROTHER DAVID RHODES WAS APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF CBS NEWS IN 2011.

OBAMA DEFENSE POLICY and ABC:

Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall is a Special Assistant to President Obama. She began working on April 8, 2013, as the White House Coordinator for Defense Policy, Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Arms Control.

On December 3, 2010, ELIZABETH’S BROTHER BEN SHERWOOD WAS APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF ABC NEWS.

OBAMA’S CHIEF OF EMBASSIES MANAGEMENT and CNN:

In November, 2012, two months after the Benghazi attack, Ben Sherwood’s close friend VIRGINIA MOSELEY left ABC to became CNN’s DEPUTY BUREAU CHIEF IN WASHINGTON, DC.

VIRGINIA MOSELEY’S HUSBAND THOMAS NIDES WAS DEPUTY SECRETARY OF STATE in charge of the physical facilities and resources of the State Department, including embassies, at the time of the Benghazi attack.

On December 20, a month after Virginia Moseley began overseeing CNN’s Washington news-gathering operation, her husband Thomas Nides testified at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on the coverup of the Benghazi attack. Nides was roasted by Senators at the hearing for his evasive testimony.

In February 2012, Nides quietly left the State Department and returned to his old firm, the Anglo-American investment bank Morgan Stanley, now as its vice chairman.

OBAMA TEAM SQUEEZES THE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER:

Politico reported May 8 that CBS News executives are squeezing CBS investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson for working too aggressively on President Obama’s coverup regarding the Benghazi attack. She is reportedly being forced out of her job.

Politico said that "CBS News executives see Attkisson wading dangerously close to advocacy on the issue, network sources have told POLITICO. Attkisson can’t get some of her stories on the air, and is thus left feeling marginalized and underutilized. That, in part, is why Attkisson is in talks to leave CBS ahead of contract [expiration]..."

BARACK AND BIBI LAUGH AT THE "INCEST":

During his visit last March with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu, the pair joked about this White House-media interlock. Politico reported March 20, 2013:

"Obama [told] Netanyahu about [Ben] Rhodes’s accomplished family, in particular that his brother, David, runs CBS News.

"`Proud Jewish mother,’ Obama added during the exchange on the tarmac at the Tel Aviv airport.

"Netanyahu picked up not on the Jewish reference, but on the notion that one Rhodes has a prominent spot in the White House communications apparatus and another atop a major U.S. television network’s news operation. `It sounds like a very incestuous relationship,’ Netanyahu declared, gesturing with his hands.

"`Not if you watch CBS News,’ Obama quipped." [AHC]
