Lyndon LaRouche: Oust Merkel and Obama Now!

EIR—On the eve of the G7 Summit minus Russia, which began on Sunday in Germany, two crucial events took place on Saturday—a presentation by Lyndon LaRouche to associates and a major event in Manhattan featuring Helga Zepp-LaRouche. As Lyndon LaRouche said on Sunday, these two presentations should be seen as reflecting a single, unified strategic concept. To prevent thermonuclear war and the extinction of the human species, we must remove Barack Obama from office in the U.S. as an integral part of a process leading to the creation of a new Presidency in the U.S. over the next 18 months. As LaRouche stated on Sunday, this is not a guess, not a myth, but a fact. Key to shifting the global situation immediately is the significance of three leading Germany figures, former Chancellors Helmut Schmidt and Gerhard Schroeder, and current German Foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier, all of whom took action this past week, against current German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s anti-Russian British Empire policy. Their action, as LaRouche stated, could play a key role in bringing about the possibility of preventing thermonuclear war. If the three of them were to effect the removal of Merkel from office, LaRouche said, that would be sufficient to prevent an outbreak of thermonuclear war. This is the best shot we have to start a chain reaction process internationally to stop the drive on the part of the British empire for world war. If Merkel were ousted, this would open up negotiations with Russia. It would also created conditions favourable to the ouster of Obama. LaRouche stressed that these three leading figures in Germany had no choice but to do what they have done. It was necessitated by the fact that the German economy is being driven downward by the policy of opposing Russia. The German economy is in danger of collapse, if the policy of Merkel and Obama continues. Look at the other nations of Europe. All are on the brink of collapse. One little tilt and the whole system goes down in a crash. Therefore, these three German figures, all of whom are members of the Social Democratic Party, which forms the coalition government headed by Merkel, in opposing Merkel, have opened the gates for Germany to reopen relations with Russia. If they had not taken this action, and if they were not to follow through in bringing Merkel down, the German economy would collapse. Thus, in attacking Merkel they attacked the British Empire policy. They know that without a change in this direction, there is no possibility of saving not only Germany, but no possibility of preventing a chain reaction collapse in the Transatlantic region as a whole. Germany is the only nation which has the potential to restart the economy of Europe in general. It is the only economy of any significant weight in Western and Central Europe. The architecture of Western Europe depends on the German economy. It is the last economy in Europe with any authoritative power. Italy is hopeless, France is shattered. The same is true of Britain, Spain, and Portugal. If you are not increasing the productive powers of labour, you are collapsing. Germany is the only nation which has the incentive and the capability of reestablishing a peaceful relationship with Russia. Therefore, the only option for Germany, and for Europe as a whole, is to open up a productive economic relationship between Germany and Russia. By doing that, the Russian economy can open up the gates of Europe to Eurasia as a whole, bringing in the role of China, India, etc. If, in addition to removing Merkel and setting the above process into motion, we in the U.S. remove Obama from office, we can also restart the U.S. economy. By doing this we will change the entire strategic situation on the planet. That is what we must do now. If we don’t, there is no possibility of preventing thermonuclear war. |
