The following is the Schiller Institute’s invitation for the Dec. 9-10 conference on the New International Security and Development Architecture, sponsored by the “Central American Critical Thought” organization.

Ending the wars and fostering sovereign economic development of all nations is going to require an entirely new international security and development architecture. The nature of that new architecture, the principles on which it should be built, will be the central topic of deliberation at the upcoming Dec. 9 -10 conference organized by the Central American and Caribbean Critical Thought organization. Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche, who will deliver the keynote address at the conference, in Nov. 2022 published a discussion document on precisely that issue, titled “Ten Principles of an International Security and Development Architecture.” Since then, she has stressed that “these ideas are meant to be food for thought and a dialogue among all people concerned to find a basis for a world order guaranteeing the durable existence of the human species.”

Conference of Central American and Caribbean Critical Thought (CPCCC)

“The New International Security and Development Architecture*

from the Standpoint of a Multipolar World”

As members of Central American and Caribbean Critical Thought (CPCCC), we call on students, intellectuals, professionals, social organizations, trade unions, men and women of good will, and peoples of the world to participate in this Conference.

Objectives of the international conference :

1.- Internationally promote the importance of a New International Security and Development Architecture, to ensure a stable and lasting peace consistent with the emergence of a multipolar world with social justice.

2.- Through the conference’s thematic topics, carry out deliberations and critical analyses intended to coordinate the various contents to obtain results and concrete proposals.
