Icelandic Parliament Committee To Discuss Bank Separation Motion Tonight

Printable version / Version imprimable

(EIRNS) — The Economic and Trade Committee of the Icelandic parliament, Althingi, is expected to discuss bank separation motion 239 tonight. If it passes in the committee, it would then have to be passed in the full parliament, which is still in session, although their session was supposed to end on March 16, and then break for the upcoming election campaign. They are continuing because they were not finished with their agenda. A source in the parliament said that whether the bank separation motion would come up for a vote in the full parliament would depend on negotiations. [mr_]
