More Clues on Malaysian Flight 370

Printable version / Version imprimable

(LPAC)—Over the last week there has been attempt to divert the investigation of the missing Malaysian Flight 370 into a search of the South Indian Ocean, which is the least likely place that the plane would have gone. It is now universally recognized that the plane’s course was diverted by human intervention in the cockpit of the plane. Why would the pilots have diverted the plane into the South Indian Ocean? If they wanted to commit suicide, why fly for 7 hours?

Therefore, the only intelligent hypothesis is that put forward by Lyndon LaRouche, which is that this is a 9/11 copycat hijacking by British/Saudi al-Qaeda networks.

LaRouchePAC has compiled a list of clues based on this hypothesis. See Further Developments on likely British-Saudi "9/11 for Asia" Malaysia Air 370 What follows are additional relevant clues.

It should be noted that both Cheney/Bush and Obama have covered up the Saudi involvement in the original 9/11. Also the Obama administration has covered up the involvement of Saudi Arabia/al-Qaeda in Benghazi 9/11/2012.

This coverup must end.

1. The Telegraph reported on March 15 that on Tuesday March 4 Saajid Muhammad Badat, an al-Qaeda supergrass (informer) told a New York court in the trial of Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, Osama bin Ladens son-in-law, that four to five Malaysian men had been planning to take control of a plane, using a bomb hidden in a shoe to blow open the cockpit door. He said he had met the Malaysian jihadists—one of whom was a pilot—in Afghanistan and given them a shoe bomb to use to take control of an aircraft. Saajid Badat, a British-born Muslim from Gloucester, said he had been instructed at a terrorist training camp in Afghanisan to give a shoe bomb to the Malaysians. Speakng via a video link from the UK where he is in hiding, he said the plot was being masterminded by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Badat, who was jailed for 13 years in 2005 for his part in a conspiracy with the shoe bomber Richard Reid, had given similar evidence in 2012 during the trial of Adis Medunjanin, an American who was later convicted of conspiring to blow up New York subways. At that time asked what he knew of the Malaysian group, he replied: "I learnt that they had a group, uh, ready to perform a similar hijacking to 9/11."

2. The Telegraph also reports that last May, two Malaysian men were arrested for links to al-Qaeda and charged with joining the Anzim al-Qaeda Malaysia group. In a separate incident two other men from Malaysia were held in Lebanon as they allegedly tried to cross into Syria to join Islamist extremists fighting the Assad regime.

In 2001 Yazid Sufaat, a biochemist and former army captain, was imprisoned for seven years under internal security laws on suspicion of being part of the Jemaah Islamiah network, the terrorist organization behind a series of bombings in Southeast Asia including the Bali nightclubs massacre in which 202 people were killed in 2002. Yazid, who was released in 2008, was also suspected of providing lodging for two of the 9/11 hijackers.

3. Two of the 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar went to al-Qaeda summit in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in January 2000. The meeting was held in the hotel room of Yazid Sufaat in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting lasted from January 5, 2000 to January 8, 2000. The summit’s purpose was allegedly to plan future attacks, which apparently included the October 2000 bombing of the USS Cole and the September 11 attack. The attendance consisted of Arab veterans of the Soviet war in Afghanistan, including Hambali, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar, and Tawfiq bin Attash.

4. House Homeland Security committee chairman Michael McCaul (R. Texas) said it’s still possible the plane is being secretly parked somewhere for later use as a weapon. "The other possible theory that were looking at is that it could have landed somewhere, filled with explosives, and then been sent somewhere to cause some great damage," McCaul warned on Fox News on Monday March 17.

5. One theory is that MH370 avoided radar in India by shadowing Singapore Airlines Flight 68. This flight proceeded across the Andaman Sea into the Bay of Bengal and finally into India’s airspace, across India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and finally Turkmenistan before proceeding across Europe to Spain. The SIA68 flight would not have detected the MH370 because its transponder had been turned off. It would have shown up as one single blip on the radar with only the transponder information of SIA68 lighting up the ATC and military radar screens.

6. In an interview on FoxNews with Sean Hannity on March 18, retired Lt. General of the Air Force McInerney stated that he believes the MH370 is intact and landed. The retired Air Force Lt. General stated that the plane had more fuel than was needed for the flight from Malaysia to Beijing. This is confirmed by the ping detected by satellite 7 hours into the flight. He said that if the plane went north the distance to Western Pakistan would be 3000/3200 miles in 7 hours, which is feasible. This is based on the plane taking a direct course through India. He cited the report that the MH370 shadowed SIG18, a report which he said had not yet been verified. Asked if he has spoken to sources in the U.S. government, he said Yes, but that is all I want to say, Sean, please. McInerney said that the Rolls Royce, Boeing and the US have more sensors in the Afghanistan/Pakistan area than in the Indian Ocean. Therefore, he believes that the US knows a lot more than has come out and that we will hear a lot more over the next 24 to 48 hours probably from the Malaysian and Pakistan governments. He believes that Pakistan knows the whereabouts of the plane. There are 3 bases in the Taliban-controlled area of Pakistan where it could have landed. 2 are operating bases and one a satellite base. There are also Falcon bases. McIinerney stated that he believed both pilots may have been complicit. He pointed out that they did not turn off their communications, but only the navigation aids. Their HF, VFH and VH radios were still operating which would allow them to listen to what was going on and to transmit to the location to which they were going. He also stressed that the US knows more than we are saying. [William F Wertz]
