(LPAC)—Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the founder and head of the Schiller Institute in Germany, was a significant participant in an international conference on the New Silk Road that was held Aug. 25 and 26 at Lanzhou University in Gansu province in northwest China, on the subject of the New Silk Road. According to published accounts, over 100 officials and experts from 21 countries gathered under the theme “One Belt and One Road,” including prominent speakers from Russia, India and of course China itself. Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche addressed the conference on the subject of “The Silk Road in the 21st century is the cornerstone of peace and order.”

The conference was held as the entire planet is undergoing a major transformation—the ante-room to what Lyndon LaRouche has called the greatest renaissance that mankind has yet produced— whose principal protagonists are the very countries and intellectual leaders that were represented at Lanzhou University.

Through years of work, decades of organizing, and in fact centuries of intellectual battles over the nature of Man, those forces have set in motion a process which visibly exploded on the world scene at the July 15-16 summit meeting of the BRICS and the Unasur nations of South America. Since that time, in the short six weeks that have transpired, the “BRICS+” nations have provided an object lesson which the remaining parts of the world (including the U.S. and Europe) need to learn from and follow. It is a lesson involving not just economic policy per se, but also in putting aside fear and taking policy matters into their own hands, as well as in displaying utter disdain for British puppet Barack Obama and everything he represents, a disdain he richly deserves.

Lyndon LaRouche today emphasized that the point that has to be learned, including by people in our own organization, is that it is ideas, and not things, that have real power in the universe. The BRICS+ developments are what we in the LaRouche movement represent; we have real power, he said, because our ideas are now coming alive for even idiots to see. For example, LaRouche added, said, don’t place too much emphasis on fusion as such—as important as it is, it is not the issue. It is only a symptom, an effect of the real power, which is the Prometheus Principle of creativity per se, as this concept was discussed during today’s “New Paradigm for Mankind” weekly report on LPAC-TV.

Stop paying so much attention to money, LaRouche emphasized. It is not money that makes the world go ‘round; it is productive activity, which itself is a result of Man’s mind. And furthermore, he added, these ideas are now becoming “fashionable” among the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), Argentina, Egypt, and elsewhere.
